A KELTY man who damaged his former partner’s computer during a row has been fined.
He admitted that on March 17 last year, at an address in Dunfermline, he damaged property by kicking a laptop computer belonging to his ex-partner.
Fraser Storrar, 34, of Keltyhill Avenue, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said that the couple had split up after an eight-year relationship.
On this day, Storrar had gone to the woman’s home to spend time with his daughter but an argument began later in the day.
Defence solicitor James Moncrieff said: “He reacted badly and he’s remorseful.”
Sheriff Charles Macnair said: “This seems to have been an argument that got out of control.”
He fined Storrar £420.
