FOUR sets of twins were born in Fife during May.
NHS Fife have revealed that there were a total of 264 deliveries last month with the birth of 134 boys and 130 girls.
Of these, there were 10 water births and four home births with the busiest day in the maternity department being May 20, when there were 15 arrivals.
The heaviest baby of the month weighed in at 5,300 grammes – 11.68 pounds – and the most popular names were Layla and Daniel.
