A THIEF sneaked into an unlocked home in Dunfermline and stole a laptop computer.
Scott Forrest, 48, of Headwell Avenue, has admitted that on January 8, at an address in Rumblingwell, he stole a laptop.
Forrest was not present at Dunfermline Sheriff Court but the guilty plea was submitted by defence solicitor Aime Allan.
When Sheriff Charles Macnair asked if Forrest was known to the people living there, she replied: “No, it was a sneak-in theft.”
Sheriff Macnair said: “So it’s basically a housebreaking at an unlocked property.”
He called for reports and Forrest will be sentenced on June 25.
