A GARDEN shed caught fire in Dunfermline last night (Monday).

Images sent to the Press show flames coming from the shed outside the property on Dunn Crescent.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.04pm on Monday, June 14 to reports of a garden shed on fire at Dunn Crescent, Dunfermline.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances and firefighters extinguished the fire which also affected an adjacent two storey dwelling.

“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”

The Press understands that the house sustained fire damage to the corner guttering and loft area as dense smoke filled the street.

Fire services left the scene near Woodmill High School shortly before midnight.
