THREE schools in West Fife have had five or more individuals isolating following positive coronavirus cases, NHS Fife has confirmed.
Two nurseries and one primary school in the area have been affected by cases between Monday and Sunday last week, June 7-13.
Donibristle Primary in Dalgety Bay and the nurseries at Bellyeoman and Crossgates Primary Schools have had five or more people requiring to isolate following coming into contact with a positive case of COVID-19.
An NHS Fife spokesperson said: "These updates list where a case has occurred in pupils or staff who are attending the school, and where five or more school contacts have been required to isolate after contact tracing has taken place.
"Where less than five potential contacts have been identified, these cases will not be included for reasons of pupil/ staff confidentiality."
There are a number of resources available for parents in Fife, with information on how best to reduce the chances of your family contracting the virus and what you should do if someone in the household develops symptoms.
