YOUNGSTERS from a West Fife nursery have new outdoor gear to play with thanks to a donation from the Rotary club.

The Treetops Nurture Centre in Inverkeithing has been given educational toys to play with in their outside space.

Members of the Rotary Club of Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay handed over the equipment last week after fundraising allowed them to buy the items from Dunfermline based-Rustic Garden Creations.

Colin Wheeler, from the club, said they were delighted to help.

"We have worked with them before and it’s always great when we can use monies raised through fundraising to help local groups and organisations," he said.

"We were also thrilled that we were able to work with Rustic Garden Creations and keep the business local. Fiona and Steven are building a great business and I would recommend them to others looking to buy kids educational toys.”

Shona Wilson, from Treetops, added: "The staff and children are delighted with the kind donation. This has been part of a larger project that supported families throughout lockdown.

"It has been a fantastic opportunity to work so closely with the Rotary club. It really is a great example of what can be achieved when you work together."
