THE Asda supermarket in Dalgety Bay has received £2.5 million of investment and undergone its biggest transformation since opening 13 years ago.

Both the Fulmar Way store and the George clothing department have been given a fresh makeover, with the additions of branded Claire’s bays of accessories, gifts and hair items and an additional aisle of homeware.

There's also a new hot pizza counter and extended rotisserie offer, as well as more contact free checkout options, including a dedicated Scan & Go zone for both traditional and mobile handsets.

Lisa Angell, store manager at Asda Dalgety Bay, said: “We’re pleased to finally be able to unveil our modern looking store to customers.

“A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes and has enabled us to bring exciting features and more food to go options that we know our customers will love.

“As part of the work we’ve listened to customers to understand what they want to see in our new look store, and have made sure that all of their favourites will still be available when they next visit us.”

Other improvements include a chilled wine bay within the beer, wine and spirits aisle, fully refurbished toilets and changes at the front of the store to create a customer ‘hub’ including a service desk, kiosk and improved parcel collection and return facilities.
