FIFE’S first Black Rooster Peri Peri restaurant is set to open in Dunfermline next month.

The eatery, which prides itself on offering “The Home of Peri Peri flavour” is planning to open on Hospital Hill in the unit between Tim Hortons and Domino’s Pizza.

Black Rooster owner Kevin Bell confirmed he expects “roughly 15 jobs” to be created when the new outlet opens.

“We are hoping to be open in the next six weeks,” he told the Press.

“The shop itself will be finished within two weeks but we are going through the recruitment stage and then they have got to go through a training programme after.

"It is the first in Fife – we have one in Edinburgh – but we plan to open more soon. It will be open from noon until 10pm and there will be about 20 seats inside and the takeaway.”

The company has advertised for kitchen and front of house staff through the shop’s Facebook page.

The website said all products are made from quality ingredients that are prepared and grilled in-store while you wait.

It promises “something for everyone” from signature chicken wings and strips to a range of burgers, burritos and quesadillas as well as kids meals and lighter options like salads and rice bowls.
