A PAIR of separate bike robberies are being probed by cops in West Fife following two incidents in 48 hours.

Police are hunting thieves who took mountain bikes from a shed in Inverkeithing, while those responsible for making off with a quad bike in Dunfermline are also being sought.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, officers reported that four bikes were taken from the Hope Street area of Inverkeithing.

Two black Brand X HT01s, a red/black Calibre Bossnut, and a light blue/grey Santa Cruz Bronson were stolen, and anybody with information is asked to call 101, quoting the reference 1319 of August 10, or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.

Meanwhile, officers in Dunfermline are also seeking assistance in tracing a quad bike that was taken from an industrial unit within the Elgin Industrial Estate, Dickson Street.

It is blue and white in colour, with red splashes, and anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers, quoting the reference 0085 of Friday August 6.
