THE Pub Landlord is on his way back to Dunfermline very soon.

Comedian Al Murray is set to return to the Alhambra Theatre as he travels up and down the UK.

The 'Landlord of Hope and Glory' tour rolls into West Fife on September 10, more than a year after his planned show for the Alhambra was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking ahead of the show, Murray said: "Citizens of Hope and Glory! Our new tomorrow beckons. A new tomorrow that smells reassuringly of yesterday, but with wi-fi.

"One last heave and we will be there. And when the going gets tough the tough get going. Although the going won’t get tough and anyone who tells you it is going to be tough is lying.

"Come join me to marvel at the majesty of our green and pleasant land. A land globally renowned for our culture, history and places, like the world-famous Salisbury Cathedral. Join me to step backwards into the future."

All original tickets are valid for the show but anyone looking to grab a seat for the stand-up's performance can still do so.

Tickets cost £27.50 and are available via the Alhambra website and its box office number on: 01383 740384

Doors at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
