A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been sentenced for a string of traffic offences.
Greg McCubbin, 29, formerly of Blairhall, now of Tarves Place, Glenrothes, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court via video-link from prison.
He had admitted of a series of crimes previously.
On February 18 last year, at Dunfermline police station, he gave a false name to officers.
On May 3 last year, he drove without insurance.
On August 12 this year, in Queensferry Road and Aberdour Road, Dunfermline, he drove while disqualified.
On August 13, at Dunfermline police station, he failed to provide a specimen of blood.
He also drove with no insurance, without a valid licence and was in possession of cocaine.
The court was told McCubbin did not want to drive again.
Sheriff Richard McFarlane told McCubbin he had committed “a whole catalogue of significant transgressions”.
He imposed a community payback order with 140 hours of unpaid work and 12 months of supervision.
The sheriff also imposed a condition that McCubbin must submit to drugs tests to ensure he was abstaining from controlled substances. He banned him from driving for a year.
