A ROW over money between a Wellwood man and his ex-partner led to him making a threat.
Michael Miller, 34, of Leadside Crescent, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 5 last year, at an address in Cowdenbeath, he sent a message to his former partner containing abusive language and a threat of violence.
Depute fiscal Laura McManus told the court that Miller had sent the woman a message saying: “I will get my money back you f****** rat. I’ll kick your c*** in.”
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said his client had given the woman £60 to buy children’s garden toys but the money had not been spent on that.
Sheriff James Macdonald fined Miller £380.
