FOUR COVID-related deaths were recorded in Fife in the last week.
Data from National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows that between September 6 and 12, a total of 76 people died across Scotland where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate, an increase of 18 deaths compared to the previous week.
Across Scotland, the deaths total included 48 males and 28 females.
From these, 12 people who died were aged under 65, 13 were of people aged 65-74 and 51 were over 75.
The total number of COVID deaths in Fife this year is now 219, with 529 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
