A 26-YEAR-OLD male is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today (Monday) after a man died in an incident in Inverkting on Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 4.35pm on Friday, 17 September, 2021, officers were called to a report of a 44-year-old man having been seriously injured following a disturbance in a restaurant on High Street, Inverkeithing.
"Emergency services attended and he was taken by ambulance to the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, where he died a short time later.
"A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"!He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 September, 2021. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Police have not released any further details of the man who died in the incident.
