WEST FIFE race ace Barry Horne has driven his company to a top motoring award.

Zoldani Auto Salon, which is owned by the inaugural Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion, was named Scotland’s Vehicle Detailing Business of the Year by Corporate LiveWire.

Barry said the award was recognition for all the hard work carried out by his team at the Elgin Industrial estate business over the last three years.

“Everyone at the company takes a huge amount of pride in the class-leading standard of work and finish we deliver on every car which comes into Zoldani,” he said.

“We have a growing database of clients who own luxury, sports and classic cars – including Porsche, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce, plus a growing range of increasingly high-value vehicles – and they all trust their cherished cars with the Zoldani team.

“But we also have a growing number of clients who simply want their car – be it a Fiat 500 or a classic car – to look its best. They too get exactly the same high level of service as someone who owns a supercar."

In addition to applying paint protection film, and carrying out machine polishing and paint correction, Zoldani also has a vinyl wrapping facility at its Dunfermline centre.

The recent awards success follows on from achievements behind the wheel and from his current role managing the Porsche programme for championship-winning Team Parker Racing.

“Whatever challenge I’ve taken on – be it racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, managing the Porsche 911 and Cayman championship campaigns with Team Parker Racing or running Zoldani – I’ve only ever had one aim, and that’s to be the best,” he added.

“Receiving the Scottish Vehicle Detailing Business of the Year Award, presented by Corporate LiveWire, simply continues that winning philosophy.”
