More than 2,300 new Covid infections have been recorded by the Scottish Government in the past 24 hours.
A total of 2,363 fresh cases have been identified, a fall from yesterday's total of 2,417.
This is the fifth day in a row the number of new cases reported in 24 hours has dropped.

There has been one new reported death. However, deaths are the weekend are usually under-reported as registry offices are closed.
The number of people in hospital being treated for the virus in hospital is now 935, a fall from yesterday's total of 943.
Of those being treated in hospital, 54 are in intensive care, seven fewer than the day before.
The overall death toll from the virus in Scotland is now 8,773 by the Scottish Government's measure, which counts those who registered a positive test in the past 28 days.

Separate figures produced by National Records of Scotland, which report deaths where Covid was mentioned on the death certificate, put the number at 11,134 as of 3 October.
Of the 29,419 new tests for Covid-19 which reported results yesterday, 8.7 per cent were positive.
The vaccination scheme continues to roll out, with 4,253,765 people having received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,861,899 their second dose.
