A DUNFERMLINE business owner has stars in her eyes after winning awards for her homemade tablet.
Kerry Dudina told the Press on Monday that the past few weeks had been a "bit of a blur" after moving house and collecting recognition from industry experts.
After more than a decade away from Dunfermline, she moved back to the town at the end of last month – a week after finding out that her award-winning tablet was in the spotlight again.
Kerry's Homemade Scottish Tablet was formed in 2018 and she has now tasted success at the Golden Taste Awards for a third time.
All three of her tablet flavour offerings: Traditional, Autumn Spice and Cardamom & Madagascan Vanilla, received a star rating in this year's awards.
Admitting she was "really surprised" to be recognised for a third year, she said: "Great Taste is the world's largest and most trusted food and drink awards, and known as the Oscars of the food world.
"These awards are really well-known and there's a rigorous judging process to go through.
"I sent samples away and the feedback from the judges was brilliant. I was blown away.
"My customers keep coming back for more and they were all over the moon for me."
She started the business a few years ago and it has proven to be a hit with sweet-toothed Scots.
The tablet is free from artificial additives and preservatives, and is produced in small batches; it is made to order and will remain fresh for up to one month following delivery.
