AN INVERKEITHING man has been given more jail time for fighting with a former friend.
Craig Rock, 40, currently a prisoner, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court via video-link from jail.
He admitted that on January 8, at Spittalfield Road, Inverkeithing, he engaged in a fight with a man and committed a breach of the peace.
Depute fiscal Mat Piskorz said the two men had been friends and Rock had visited his home that night.
He had been asked to leave but would not do so, which led to the fight.
Defence solicitor Aime Allan said: “They were friends at one point.”
She said after the fight the other man had left his home, locking her client inside, before the police were contacted.
Sheriff Charles Macnair jailed Rock for five-and-a-half months to run consecutively to his current term.
In August, he was jailed for 10 months for an assault on a police officer.
