DALGETY BAY councillor David Barratt has shown he is digging the new artwork in the town.

Local residents are being asked to get involved and share their photos at the newly-revamped underpass on Moray Way North.

Cllr Barratt got involved when he was pictured with the giant spade on one of the murals – but there are also photo opportunities with the colourful crab or sandcastle too.

"The artists have finished it off and are coming back next year to do one in Hillend," he said. "It is looking great. Even people walking past it are all commenting when they are near. Lots of people seem quite happy seeing it all.

"It is definitely a big improvement to the area and the community payback team are coming to paint the barriers in the next week or so."
