A DUNFERMLINE man who runs a music studio clashed in the street with someone who is in the same business.
The incident resulted in Dominick Hardy appearing in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Hardy, 33, of Beath View, admitted that on October 5, at Douglas Street, he shouted and swore.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the two men had music studios close to each other and there were previous tensions between them.
At 5.50pm, Hardy cycled past the other man who was standing outside having a smoke.
Hardy shouted: “You f****** little rat. Get back in your f****** hole.”
The incident was seen by others in the street. The man went back inside and contacted the police.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said there was “some previous history between the two”.
He went on: “The businesses are around the corner from each other. This was a chance encounter. He says he ‘got some gyp’ from this man and he responded in kind.”
Sheriff Wyllie Robertson admonished Hardy.
