OPENING times for community COVID-19 testing sites have been changed due to weather warnings forecast due to Storm Arwen.

NHS Fife have confirmed that mobile units will operate from 10.15am-3.15pm tomorrow (Saturday), whilst fixed sites will open from 10am-4pm.

Earlier today, community testing mobile units were shut from 1.30pm, and fixed sites from 2pm, as the Kingdom is set to be hit with high winds.

The Met Office has issued a red warning for parts of Fife from 3pm today (Friday) to 2am tomorrow, while the West Fife area will stay under an amber warning until 9am tomorrow.

With both warnings, there is a 'danger to life' threat as a result of flying debris.

The Met Office says high winds associated with Storm Arwen will bring damage and travel disruption.

In West Fife, the fixed sites impacted are at the Leys Park Road car park in Dunfermline, and the Parkgate Centre in Rosyth, whilst other sites are located at Cowdenbeath's Maxwell Centre, and the Glebe Centre in Kirkcaldy.

Mobile COVID-19 testing units are also located within the train station car park in Aberdour; Abbeyview main car park and Touch Community Centre in Dunfermline; High Valleyfield Community Centre; and Kelty Community Centre.
