A MAN is due to appear in court tomorrow (Tuesday) after an attempted robbery at a Dunfermline petrol station at the weekend.
The alleged incident took place at the BP garage in Bothwell Street and it is understood the premises were closed for a period while police were in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a garage on Bothwell Street, Dunfermline around 12.40pm on Saturday 4 December 2021, following a report of an attempted robbery.
"A 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Tuesday 7 December 2021."
