A DRIVER was admitted to hospital after a crash between Aberdour and Burntisland yesterday.
Police blocked one road lane to deal with the collision but managed to keep traffic moving as they dealt with the incident.
The driver was sent to hospital "as a precaution" and the beaten up vehicle was recovered.

South West Fife Police tweeted at 11.16am: "Currently dealing with a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the #A921 between #Aberdour and #Burntisland.
"One lane is blocked but traffic is still moving.
"Please take care if you’re planning on using this route"
And updated at 1.52pm: "The vehicle involved has now been recovered and the driver is away to hospital as a precaution.
"Road now fully open again.
"Thanks to everyone for their patience."
