CANTONESE food is set to be served up at the Dunfermline premises occupied by Grill 48.
Noble Cuisine has updated its website with the news that it's set to open from its new East Port base in the Spring.
Set over three floors, the ground floor will house the restaurant and provide a "casual and family-style setting".
There will be a lounge and a space for fine dining on the first floor with kitchen facilities on the third floor.
A statement on the website explained: "We offer a wonderful food and drink service merging old school service with a contemporary atmosphere.
"Our fresh and unique range of Cantonese products will include appetisers, entrees, desserts and oriental beverages.
"We aim to bring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone from employees to customers."
It will be a return to Dunfermline for the business as a previous Noble Cuisine restaurant operated successfully from Carnegie Drive – where Apricot restaurant is now – before closing around a decade ago.
The premises on East Port have been vacant since September 2019 when Grill 48 closed its doors after eight-and-a-half years.
The owners of Dunfermline's Jack 'O' Bryan's restaurant had revealed plans to open another eatery at that site, however, they told the Press in November that they had to put these on the back burner due to the recruitment crisis in the hospitality industry.
