FIRE Station Creative have launched their latest venture – a video podcast.

Director of the Dunfermline arts venue Ian Moir said he wanted to create a platform for artists and musicians to promote their work.

'FSC Podcast' will showcase both well-known industry names and emerging talent.

Ian said: "We realised that the careers of so many artists and musicians have been set back by the lockdowns and we wanted to do something to help them.

"Our podcast will provide an insight into the minds of creative people and also allow them to promote their work."

The first episode of the series is out now, and features a 90-minute conversation with The Skids frontman, Richard Jobson.

In future releases, he will continue to show his support through sending "audio postcards", documenting his thoughts on art exhibitions in London.

Regulars on the podcast will also be film student Megan Fitzpatrick, artist Laura Graham and Ian.

Currently, you can watch and listen to the show on YouTube, but episodes are due to be available on other platforms soon.

The project is supported by Carnegie Dunfermline Trust and The William Syson Foundation, who awarded the Fife arts charity £6,800 to cover equipment costs.
