Cruises from Rosyth to Europe are set to launch this summer.
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines have also announced their summer sales, meaning that West Fifers can snap up a ten night cruise to northern Europe from as little as £1,699 per person, the offer will run on from May to September.
The deal saves customers up to £200 on the trip, the ‘Discovering Castles, Palaces and Cultural Landmarks of Northern Europe’ cruise leaves Rosyth on August 19 and will visit Denmark, Poland, Germany and Lithuania before docking again in Rosyth.
For those looking for a shorter break, a five night cruise will also launch from Rosyth. The ‘Summertime Norwegian Fjords in Five Nights’ cruise leaves from Rosyth on July 19 and prices for this shorter trip start at £699 per person.
Demand for this could see the return of regular ferries to Zeebrugge, a service that many local politicians have called to be reinstated over the years.
