OFFICE space in a "prime town centre location" in Dunfermline is set to go under the hammer with bidding opening at £213,000.

Future Property Auctions will be aiming to sell the property at 3-5 New Row, and a plot of land in Crossford, at an online auction on Thursday, May 5 – while the deadline for offers on three more West Fife lots is today (Thursday).

The office space at New Row is on the first and second floors of a three-storey development with car-parking at the back.

The auctioneers said it was available for sale on a freehold basis and added: "The property is in a highly-visible, corner position in a prime town centre location on the junction of High Street and New Row.

"The first floor has been divided to form two individual suites both currently held on FRI (Full Repairing and Insuring) lease agreements."

The second floor is currently vacant but there is planning consent to convert the space into eight flats.

The property was up for auction last week but didn't sell.

A plot of land in Crossford, on Mochrum Drive, will also be open for offers on May 5.

It currently has a number of trees on it and bidding will open at £30,000.

Three lots from West Fife that were not bought last week have a deadline for offers today (Thursday).

They include a Y-shaped tree-lined strip of land for sale at Park Place in Dunfermline.

The guide price is £20,000 and Future Property Auctions described it as a "super plot measuring almost 40,000 square feet in the popular Transy estate on the edge of Dunfermline Public Park".

They added: "This land is offered without current planning permission and the auctioneers are unaware of any previous applications.

"All enquiries in relation to planning should be directed to Fife Council."

Also for sale in Dunfermline is a plot of land at Baldridgeburn, near McLean Primary School, which has a guide price of £25,000.

And there's a one-bedroom flat for sale in Station Road in Kelty, with a guide price of £55,000.
