A 66-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after a theft in Dalgety Bay.
The arrest was made after a report from the Meadowfield area on April 12.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Following the report of a theft of a parcel in the Meadowfield area of Dalgety Bay, that was reported on Tuesday, 12 April, a 66-year-old man has been charged and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
South West Fife police further cautioned residents after dealing with "quite a few" shopliftings and thefts in town.
They tweeteed: "#CommunityCops dealing with quite a few shopliftings and other thefts in the #DalgetyBay area recently.
"No idea what people expect when there’s CCTV cameras everywhere … one local resident charged in connection with theft yesterday and more to follow."
