MOTORISTS are being warned of disruption on the Queensferry Crossing this afternoon.
Traffic Scotland have warned that lane two of the southbound carriageway is blocked because of debris on the carriageway.
It is understood that scaffolding has blown onto the road and lengthy delays have been reported.
A post on Twitter from Traffic Scotland stated: "Lane 2 blocked Southbound on the Queensferry Crossing due to debris. Traffic slowing on the approach."
An update just before 4pm said all lanes were now open however there are long delays on the approach with 45 minute travel southbound and 10 minutes travel time northbound.
We have contacted Police Scotland and Transport Scotland for an update and will bring an update as soon as we have one.
