The Dalgety Bay fundraising group for Marie Curie are going to hold an exercise bike challenge on Wednesday.

They'll be clocking up the miles at Regents Way, near to the Tesco store in the centre of town, from 10am to 4pm.

A spokesperson explained: "We plan to keep pedalling until we reach our goal of 1051, which is the total of the combined ages of the group.

"We would like to thank Fife Council and Tesco Dalgety Bay for giving us permission to hold this event, to help us raise much needed funds to support the Marie Curie nursing teams."

Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with terminal illness across the UK.

Their nurses work night and day in people's homes and hospices to offer specialist care, as well as emotional support, practical information and matching them with trained volunteers.
