THE group stage draw for the Premier Sports Cup has kept the Pars and Kelty Hearts apart ahead of them meeting on League One business next season.
Earlier this afternoon, the draw for the group phase of the competition was made, ahead of its opening weekend on July 9-10.
Dunfermline, relegated from the Championship, were in the second pot of seeds and were drawn in Group C.
They will play Premiership Ross County; League One Alloa Athletic; League Two East Fife - managed by their former manager, Stevie Crawford - and Highland League Buckie Thistle.
League Two title winners Kelty were among the fourth pot of seeds, and were placed in Group G.
There, they will face top flight Livingston; Championship Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Cove Rangers; and League Two Albion Rovers.
Fixtured dates, and TV schedules, are to be announced at a later date.
