A PUBLIC consultation is being held in Inverkeithing on Tuesday to discuss a community-led regeneration of the former primary school site.
The Cohousing Scotland charity will host the event to highlight what could be done with the derelict buildings, following the owners' decision to offer to sell to the people of the town.
The former Inverkeithing Primary School, parts of which date back to 1874, was left in ruins after a major fire in November 2018.
The owners, the Inverkeithing School Company Ltd, had wanted to knock it down and build 28 homes but they've now changed their minds, with a community-led regeneration now being explored.
The 'Places Like Home' event will look at the opportunity for cohousing and other community benefits.
It's at the Civic Centre with a drop-in from 2.30-5pm and a panel discussion from 7-8.30pm.
