DAREDEVIL bikers took to the streets of Dunfermline last week for an early-morning wake-up call.

The group lined the High Street at 8.45am last Thursday ready for their second day on the road, dressed as the iconic rider, Evel Knieval.

While 'Being Evel for a Good Cause', the team spent up to 10 hours a day between June 1 and 5 on their bikes, travelling 1,200 miles.

This saw them visit each of the UK's mainland capital cities for the team's 11th fundraising event.

Since 2012, they have raised £150,000 for charity, and have this year made almost £30,000 for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Dressed as the legendary stunt-jumper, 50 bikers took part in the challenge, which saw them ride from Wrexham to Dunfermline and to Edinburgh and London before finishing back at their starting point on Sunday night.

The group also made a pit-stop at Knockhill on Wednesday, where they took laps of the race track.
