LONDONERS are travelling north of the border for a special celebration at the site of a former West Fife coal mine this weekend.
Joining the likes of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Stephen Mulhern, the Tower Hamlets youths will be performing at St Ninians on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 11 young people between 16 and 20 and five youth workers from Spotlight Youth Centre, in the English capital, will be performing in the Platinum Jubilee Spectacular.
They will be joining an incredible line-up for the show, which will include performances from the famous Red Hot Chilli Pipers; The Imps Motorcycle Display Team – the world’s foremost youth display team; Katie Robertson, the award-winning ‘Wheeled Piper’; massed pipes and drums and Highland dancing displays, with the event presented by TV's Stephen Mulhern.
