POLICE have stepped up patrols in Inverkeithing after a rise in reports of thefts.
South West Fife Police tweeted yesterday (Monday) that they would be conducting regular checks in the town, including the Ferrytoll park and ride, after catalytic converters have been reported stolen from vehicles in the area.
Sharing the information on their Twitter, they wrote: "Some checks of the local area today in between calls as well, including the #Ferrytoll Park and Ride in #Inverkeithing. We’ve had a few thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles here recently, so we’ll be checking often. #CommunityCops #CCTV #NobodyLikesAThief"
