A DULOCH boy has had the bike he was given for his birthday stolen.

Marcel Kubacki just got the bike for his 11th birthday in May, but it's now been taken from outside their house on Serf Avenue.

Desperate to see the bike returned, his mum, Nina Żuk, has put posters around the city and contacted the Press.

Nina shared the poster her son made to try and get the bike back, Marcel wrote: "Hello, I'm Marcel and I'm 11-years-old. This is my orange bike but someone stole it from me at Duloch. I left it outside of my house. I got this bike on my birthday. If anyone saw it please phone my mum on 07341448896.

"If the person who stole it is reading this, please return my bike to the same place."

Marcel is eager for the bike to be returned and his mum is keen to get the word out so everyone is on the lookout.

Nina told the Press: "That day, my son, he left his bike outside the house and it was about 7pm and it had disappeared. I am pretty sure someone passed by and just took it.

"He is upset about it so he made all the leaflets and we just hope that someone reads it in the newspaper then someone will drop it off because it was his birthday present.

"It's a kids bike, it's not a bike for adults. It's just stupid to take something from a kid, it is unbelievable and it is disgusting."
