A GIG in support of a men's mental health group is set to take place at PJ Molloy's next month.

Dunfermline band The Fade will perform a headline set at the venue, with all proceeds going to Andy's Man Club.

"I follow Andy's Man Club on Facebook and one of my friends actually goes," Raymond Donnelly, the band's lead vocalist, told the Press.

"People go in with no hope and leave feeling better and the more awareness there is, the more people you can help.

"We are all really looking forward to it."

The band, who are no strangers to fundraising after releasing a single previously in support of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, will play a one-and-a-half hour set, supported by Edinburgh group The Radials.

Raymond also said that the Canmore Street venue had been "really helpful" in the organisation, having waived part of their booking fee and agreeing to host the event without hesitation.

They will also be holding a raffle on the night with CDs and T-Shirts up for grabs, while a donations bucket will also be placed at the door.

Members of Andy's Man Club, who have groups in Dunfermline and Dalgety Bay, as well as in towns and villages across Fife, have been given wristbands so that they can attend for free.

The gig will take place on September 16 from 7pm onwards and tickets will be available on the door or in advance at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/348189212307
