THERE were six recorded coronavirus deaths in Fife for the week ending July 24.
The latest figures, taken from the UK coronavirus dashboard has shown that 876 people in Fife have now died after suffering with COVID. This has increased from 870 from the previous week.
Recently, Public Health Scotland have stopped reporting deaths for anyone who has died within 28 days of a positive COVID-19 test result.
Now, these weekly figures include anyone whose death certificate mentions COVID-19 as one of the causes, registered in the week ending Sunday.
Deaths in Scotland are recorded by registration date, and are allocated to the deceased's usual area of residence.
