A DUNFERMLINE band have stars in their eyes as they launch their latest single, Johnny Depp.
TwinsTown, fronted by the identical Mackay twins, Donald and Stuart, will release the "chilled out" track, a nod to the US movie star, on August 12.
A spokesperson called the song "three minutes and three seconds of laid-back, chilled-out indie pop," adding: "This is not the power pop you might expect from TwinsTown.
"This is more Belle and Sebastian than Elvis Costello and the Attractions."
They'll be playing a launch night gig at PJ Molloy's, where a promotional video, filmed by award-winning content creators A State of Mind, will also be screened.
The five-piece will perform 'Johnny Depp' at the show, alongside other tracks from their debut album, Brankholm Brae.
With support from The Chase and Edinburgh indie newcomers Usual Affairs, the evening will be hosted by The Magic Mod and also involve a spoken word performance from Stirling poet Kevin Graham.
The show will kick-off at 7pm, tickets are £11 and available at: https://www.ticketweb.uk/.../a-state-of-mind.../12169385
