A FORMER school bus driver who made sexual comments to pupils has been sentenced to supervision.

Paul Orr, 46, was also put on the sex offenders register for two years for his behaviour on the school bus between Dunfermline and Rosyth.

Orr, of Haughgate Avenue, Leven, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that between January 6 and October 1 last year at St Columba’s High School and roads leading to Rosyth, he directed sexual communication towards a girl aged 16 without her consent, making sexualised comments towards her and about other persons.

Orr also admitted between April 10, 2020 and January 6 this year, he committed the same offence towards another 16-year-old girl.

He made comments about the girls’ bodies and about people in the street as the bus passed them.

He also spoke about the girls’ bras and said to one of them: “Who are you s******* this week?”

Sheriff Grant McCulloch told Orr: “This went beyond what you thought was banter.

“Making sexual references about them. It’s had consequences on them and for you.”

The sheriff imposed a community payback order with two years of supervision.

Orr was put on the sex offenders’ register for the same period.
