DUNFERMLINE Junior Chorus is looking to recruit new members as they hope to get back to normal after the pandemic.

The group had to stop rehearsing in March 2020 and were not able to get back singing until August 2021. Despite the long break, and the restrictions they had to follow when they returned, they were able to put on three shows last year.

Now that restrictions have eased, they are encouraging children to get involved in one of their four choirs, the Wee Music Makers for Primary 2 kids; the Music Makers for kids in Primary 3-4, the Junior Choir for those in Primary 4-7; and the Senior Choir for children in secondary school.

Anyone who would like to join a choir group, develop their singing and performance skills, their understanding of music, make friends and have fun are invited along to a free workshop at the first rehearsal. Wee Music Makers will meet on September 6 while the rest of the groups will meet on September 8.
