A DUNFERMLINE man has appeared in court for his controlling behaviour over his partner, which included throwing coffee over her.
Mark McConnell, 28, of Johnston Crescent, was in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between November 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020, at an address in Kingseat, and elsewhere, he engaged in an abusive course of behaviour towards his partner.
He controlled what she wore and who she spoke with, made derogatory comments about her eating habits, and assaulted her by throwing coffee over her.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for McConnell to be assessed for the Caledonian Programme for domestic offenders and he will be sentenced on October 10.
