A 57-YEAR-OLD Rosyth paedophile who committed sexual offences against young girls has avoided a jail sentence.

One of the victims was just 13 and two 15-year-old girls were also targets for Alexander Miller.

There were four victims in all and some of the crimes took place at allotments in Rosyth.

Other offences took place at a party after Miller spent £60 buying alcohol for a group of young girls aged 13 to 16.

Miller, of Primrose Court, admitted a string of offences at Dunfermline Sheriff Court previously and returned for sentencing.

On June 6 last year, at Kings Road allotments, Rosyth, he sexually assaulted a female by placing his arms repeatedly around her body, touched her breast repeatedly, both over and underneath her clothing, and touched her on the buttocks.

On the same day and place, he exposed his naked penis to her.

On October 3 last year, at an address in Rosyth, he engaged in sexual activity with another girl, then aged 13, by touching her breasts over her clothing.

On the same day, he engaged in sexual activity with another girl, aged 15, by kissing her on the cheek, sexually touching her leg, threw an ice cube down her top, touched her breasts, made sexualised comments to her repeatedly, and asked her about her sexual preferences.

He also engaged in penetrative sexual activity with a different girl, then aged 15.

Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client had stopped drinking since the offences, which had been committed after alcohol was consumed.

Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work and two years of supervision. Miller has also been put on the sex offenders’ register.
