AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD boy was injured after being thrown to the floor by a Dunfermline man.
Daniel Sheridan, 31, of Rose Gardens, was found guilty after a trial at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Sheridan was convicted of a charge that on October 9 last year, at his previous home in Rosyth, he assaulted a boy, then aged eight, by seizing him on the body and throwing him to the floor to his injury.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for further background information from social work and Sheridan will be sentenced on November 30.
