A PUBLIC consultation on plans to build around 160 homes in Blairhall is to begin today (Friday).

The consultation is part of a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) submitted to Fife Council which could see the creation of the new homes with associated infrastructure and landscaping on land to the south east of South Avenue.

An exhibition of the initial proposals can be viewed online from today until November 4 at http://www.bracewell-stirling.co.uk/public-consultations.

A public drop in exhibition will also take place in Blairhall Community Centre on Wednesday, November 2, between 2pm and 7pm.

A follow-up drop in session will then be held at the same venue on Wednesday November 30 from 2pm until 7.30pm.

The application follows previous proposals from Kingdom Housing Association back in 2018 to build 84 homes on the site.

A PAN was submitted but was later withdrawn by the applicants.
