IT has been an action-packed year of action at one of West Fife's most iconic venues and they're set to conclude it with a bang.

From the Bennetts British Superbike Championship to hosting the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship for a 30th year, to the McRae Rally Challenge honouring the achievements of late 1995 World Rally Championship winner, Colin McRae, and his family, club events and everything in between, 2022 has been busy at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Next Saturday, on November 5, the venue will offer what they describe as "the best fireworks show in Scotland" as they return with their annual Bonfire and Fireworks night.

A day for all the family, beginning at 2.30pm, Scotland's national motorsport centre will give crowds the chance to see a variety of race action, featuring cars glowing in lights, a variety of children's entertainment and show-stopping fireworks display - and you could be there as part of our fantastic competition.

We've teamed-up with Knockhill to offer two sets of tickets for the event, which will also offer live-action motorsport demonstrations and races around the tri-oval section of track; funfair rides; food outlets, including two on-site restaurants; face painting; demonstrations and interviews with starts from the touring cars; competitions and giveaways; and two large bonfires, and Knockhill's largest ever fireworks display, plus much more.

Stuart Gray, director of events at Knockhill, said: "It's become our fourth largest event of the year.

"The feedback from the fireworks, because it's live action on the track, is unbelievable in terms of the 'wow' factor.

"It's a great finale to the year."
