A FORMER care worker from Dunfermline has been sentenced for sexually-assaulting two females.
Daryl McFarlane, 30, of Islay Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between October 16-17 last year in Crossgates, he sexually-assaulted a female by placing his hand repeatedly on her neck and body.
Then, on October 27 last year, also in Crossgates, he sexually-assaulted another female by seizing her by the neck, touching her brassiere over her clothing, and repeatedly striking and touching her on the buttocks over her clothing with his hand.
McFarlane was a care worker at the time of the offences.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: “He should have known better. He’s now in different employment.”
Sheriff David Hall imposed a community payback order with one year of supervision and 150 hours of unpaid work. McFarlane was also put on the sex offenders' register for a year.
