A BREAK-IN in Dunfermline has been caught on camera by residents after a thief attempted to enter their home.
Police say enquiries into the incident, which happened on Beech Grove in Pitcorthie, are ongoing.
They had received a report on Sunday evening that a property had been broken into, with footage of the scene, which showed one person with a covered face, posted on social media.
It's not known whether they gained access to the house or if anything was stolen.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a break-in to a property on Beech Grove, Dunfermline, around 6pm on Sunday, 13 November, 2022.
"Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing."
