SCOUT Post has returned with youngsters ready to collect and deliver 30,000 Christmas cards across West Fife.

Co-ordinated by the 39th Fife and 2nd Fife groups, they will accept, sort and pop your festive greetings through the letterbox for 40p a card.

And the money raised will help the Scouts to "continue to give young people amazing opportunities and develop the skills for life that Scouting is famous for".

Fiona McCreadie, volunteer with the 39th Fife Scouts, said: “We are delighted that the Scout Post is returning again, this is a huge fundraiser for our groups and means that our young people get to take part in exciting activities throughout the year.

"We are hoping that this year will be as popular as previous years with almost 30,000 Christmas cards being processed and delivered!

"As you can tell, this is a massive undertaking each year and we really do need support from people to help us run it successfully.”

The Scouts are grateful to the businesses who have agreed to host collection points.
