A DALGETY BAY woman bombarded her former partner with calls and messages after they had split up.

Donna Anderson, 46, of Frankfield Crescent, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to be sentenced for a series of offences she admitted previously.

Between September 25-28 last year at Letham Rise, Dalgety Bay, she engaged in an abusive course of conduct towards her ex-partner by sending an excessive number of text messages and phone calls and attended at his home repeatedly.

Having been granted bail, she breached the conditions on Christmas Day last year, then again on January 24 and 25, at Letham Rise, when she contacted and communicated with her ex-partner.

She breached the conditions again on March 11.

Defence solicitor Russel McPhate said the couple had been separated for two years but they had still been living in the same house initially.

His client had hoped for a reconciliation but her partner did not want that to happen. He added that his client had been suffering from mental health issues.

Sheriff Charles Lugton admonished Anderson for the first two matters. On the latter offence, he deferred sentence for good behaviour until May 24.

He also imposed a two-year non-harassment order.
